Eviction Notice

So I totally ripped this off from my boss's daughter but it's very relevant right now...

"Eviction Notice

I am issuing a 30 day notice for EVICTION. Tenant will have 30 days in which he can either gather his belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, he will be physically removed from the property.

He's being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made.

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

After 30 days from this day, if he doesn't comply with the notice, it will result in immediate and forceful removal at my discretion."

LOVE YOU SON!!!

Duracell or Energizer?

So I thought it was kinda funny... I was watching Leno and he said. "The economy is so bad that women are having sex with their husbands because they can't afford the batteries"... hehehe!

Diary of a hunting widow

Matt is hunting... or camping.... or armed hiking... depending on what he comes back with. I thought about going up there and visiting, but it's snowing not only up in the mountains... but here! Where did Fall go? You know, the season between Summer and Winter. I know we didn't have a Spring either but we had snow in June... that's 4 months for Spring, Summer and Fall... not good!

So I started my projects that I need to get done... I painted Brooklyn's room half blue so that the kids can share a rooom until we can buy a new house or Brooklyn wants to move downstairs (not at least until summer). I got that finished and it looks pretty good. I also have sold my dresser (I've been wanting a new one FOREVER!) I have also found a promising lead on a loft bed for Brooklyn and I think that will make the transition and space issue better for everyone. I still need:

a car seat/ stroller, crib, bottles, diaper bag, bedding for the crib, those covers for the car seat that keep the baby extra warm... probably a whole bunch of other things that I have NO idea about!

I'm getting closer Laura told me about a cute car seat at Target (Laura, it's really cute) I'm going to run it by Matt and probably go and get it! Yeah, one less thing on the list!

Anyway, so I'm just hanging out with my little lady. We had pizza last night and I let her stay up way past her bedtime becuase I thought that she would sleep in... I was wrong! I let her sleep in our bed last night because with Matt being gone and her room being torn apart, there was PLENTY of room for her. She woke up at 7 and was ready to go for the day. She has worn at least 10 different outfits, nothing weather appropriate and most of them dress-up clothes. We ventured out to Hollywood Video and rented the 5th Harry Potter. I haven't seen it yet and I'm not sure if it's suitable for young children. Anyway, Kaci let us borrow Open Season so I thought that there probably isn't a more appropriate children's movie for the season (besides some stupid Christmas movie... argh!) So, I'm making cookies (yes, I cought the pre-made dough and I scooped and baked, but I"m still baking, let me live in my dream world) and watching a movie, myspacing, waiting for Bub to go to bed to read the 2nd Twilight book and seriously procrastinating 3 papers I have to finish sometime soonish. Maybe tonight I'll at least start on one of them... we'll see... Well... stay tuned for more!

The new man in my life...

So I realized when I was pregnant with Brooklyn that I was truly emotional and slightly a little more inclined to be a Mommy when I saw this Johnson and Johnson commercial

this blogspot will not let me post it here... but you can look at it on my myspace... www.myspace/hollerkrystal

so... it's true... the new love of my life is REALLY short and bald (he's now at the top of my list with my baby girl). He's only about 3 pounds and not ready to come out of my belley yet, but I'm very excited for his arrival! So, my profile picture is of my new little man. We got a 3D ultrasound last Thursday, it was really an amazing expirence to see this little dude all snuggle up inside my belly!

ISU liberation!

So... I've really been avoiding blogging. I'm really trying to focus on homework, etc, but thanks to a few friends I find myself addicted to Twilight, Prison Break and I guess I'm going to have to start blogging on Blogger or blogspot or whatever the people in the "biz" call it. So.... I went and got a parking permit at the beginning of the semester (like all faithful people that don't want to have class at 6 am to park on 8th or 5th do) and I heard a rumor that if you are so far along that you can get a disabled parking permit... sure, but what the heck, it sparked my curiosity... so I asked, what could it hurt? The myth was true!!!! I had to have my doctor sign the little form and I was on my way. I didn't necessarily feel "right" about doing it, but after this morning.... yeee haw!!! The permit is not lot specific. I can park in any space anytime, this means meter parking, handicapped parking, reserved lot spaces, housing spaces.... I LOVE IT! So I roll right up to almost the front door and park it in a metered spot.... it took me like 3 seconds to get to the lab! I'm lovin it like McDonalds! Anywho, this will only last for the semester (as the baby is due during finals week, but I will enjoy it while it lasts! Stay tuned for more adventures from P to the ello.....

The first time...

This is the story of how we met... the first time... kinda cute. Originally posted Tuesday, July 25, 2006

The hubs.... cute story

So.... My husband and I are both from the same very small county... We knew all of the same people and my closest friends from soda were some of his closest friends. Anyway... so we thought that there must have been sometime that we had met and I had a faded mem0ry of a nerdy blonde kid that I had danced with at some dance... a long time ago and he had said that he had a faint memory of a skinny girl with braces that he had danced with at some dance a long time ago. We had it narrowed down to where we think that we may have met at a New Year's Eve dance in Soda Springs but there was really no way of confirming it so we just left it at that. So we were at my parents house last weekend when I looked up and in the back of the bookshelf there is my journal from Highschool/first year of college. I was a really good journal writer and thought that maybe I had written about that dance. I start flipping through the first couple of pages and my husband points out his name. I SLAMMED the book shut. I had NO idea what I wrote about him! I finally pryed it away and it said, ... "So shanalee asked my if I would dance with this kid named Ivan. When I asked him why he chose me to dance with he said that when he walked into the dance that he told his friend Matt (my hubs) that he wanted to dance with the prettiest girl at the dance and that Matt said that it was me. It made my night! Now 6 years later we are married... crazy huh? Just thought that I'd share.

Love,
The Prettiest girl at the dance

The Story of how we met... really

So, I guess I should start this new adventure in this blog with the (kinda) beginning. This is taken right from my myspace blog originally posted Wednesday, February 21, 2007

The story of how we met...

So, I got a message from one of my friends... that's you Chelsea... that had never heard the story of how Matt and I met. Really... it wasn't that romantic until you get my side of it. So I'll start at the beginning. I got divorced when I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter. If you didn't know that, then we don't knwo eachother very well... I was feeling pretty bad about myself I felt like I couldn't keep going. I knew that I had a baby to take care of but I was so bitter toward my ex for "ruining my life" which he didn't but at the time I thought that. I was in a real rut and I had a dream that I saw this cute blond guy at work. He had a cute smile and he came up to me and said "Hi, I'm Matt" I woke up feeling great. I didn't think that there would ever be a real person who was blonde (I didn't go for blondes) but it really gave me hope. I told my mom about the dream and she was excited that I had at least found some comfort that everything was going to be okay. I started seeing a guy named Nate and he was blonde... I asked my mom if maybe I just didn't hear him right in the dream, but it never went anywhere and about 4 months later I had picked up an extra shift. I NEVER worked more than I had to and the only reason I did it was becuase some other people on my team were picking up shifts so I did too. I walked into pre-shift (the meeting before actual work started) and I sat and BS's with some of the people there and in walks a cute blonde guy with a great smile. He walked right toward me and said "Hi, I'm Matt". I was dying... I thought someone was playing a practical joke on me... not only was his name Matt but as we started talking I hit him with the one-two punch of I'm divorced AND have a child... not just a child but a BABY a tiny BABY... AND he didn't freak out, he didn't even pretend to not freak out. Now we've been married for just over a year. But that's our humble beginnings.
