Duracell or Energizer?

So I thought it was kinda funny... I was watching Leno and he said. "The economy is so bad that women are having sex with their husbands because they can't afford the batteries"... hehehe!

Diary of a hunting widow

Matt is hunting... or camping.... or armed hiking... depending on what he comes back with. I thought about going up there and visiting, but it's snowing not only up in the mountains... but here! Where did Fall go? You know, the season between Summer and Winter. I know we didn't have a Spring either but we had snow in June... that's 4 months for Spring, Summer and Fall... not good!

So I started my projects that I need to get done... I painted Brooklyn's room half blue so that the kids can share a rooom until we can buy a new house or Brooklyn wants to move downstairs (not at least until summer). I got that finished and it looks pretty good. I also have sold my dresser (I've been wanting a new one FOREVER!) I have also found a promising lead on a loft bed for Brooklyn and I think that will make the transition and space issue better for everyone. I still need:

a car seat/ stroller, crib, bottles, diaper bag, bedding for the crib, those covers for the car seat that keep the baby extra warm... probably a whole bunch of other things that I have NO idea about!

I'm getting closer Laura told me about a cute car seat at Target (Laura, it's really cute) I'm going to run it by Matt and probably go and get it! Yeah, one less thing on the list!

Anyway, so I'm just hanging out with my little lady. We had pizza last night and I let her stay up way past her bedtime becuase I thought that she would sleep in... I was wrong! I let her sleep in our bed last night because with Matt being gone and her room being torn apart, there was PLENTY of room for her. She woke up at 7 and was ready to go for the day. She has worn at least 10 different outfits, nothing weather appropriate and most of them dress-up clothes. We ventured out to Hollywood Video and rented the 5th Harry Potter. I haven't seen it yet and I'm not sure if it's suitable for young children. Anyway, Kaci let us borrow Open Season so I thought that there probably isn't a more appropriate children's movie for the season (besides some stupid Christmas movie... argh!) So, I'm making cookies (yes, I cought the pre-made dough and I scooped and baked, but I"m still baking, let me live in my dream world) and watching a movie, myspacing, waiting for Bub to go to bed to read the 2nd Twilight book and seriously procrastinating 3 papers I have to finish sometime soonish. Maybe tonight I'll at least start on one of them... we'll see... Well... stay tuned for more!

The new man in my life...

So I realized when I was pregnant with Brooklyn that I was truly emotional and slightly a little more inclined to be a Mommy when I saw this Johnson and Johnson commercial

this blogspot will not let me post it here... but you can look at it on my myspace... www.myspace/hollerkrystal

so... it's true... the new love of my life is REALLY short and bald (he's now at the top of my list with my baby girl). He's only about 3 pounds and not ready to come out of my belley yet, but I'm very excited for his arrival! So, my profile picture is of my new little man. We got a 3D ultrasound last Thursday, it was really an amazing expirence to see this little dude all snuggle up inside my belly!
